Carajillo cocktail

A classic Spanish cocktail popular in Mexico, the carajillo is made with espresso and Licor 43 and is the perfect afternoon or after-dinner cocktail that can be enjoyed hot or cold.
Ingredients
- ½ cup brewed espresso or decaf espresso
- 1 ½ to 2 ounces Licor 43
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- In an Old Fashioned glass, pour 1 ½ to 2 ounces of Licor 43 over ice.
- Slowly pour freshly brewed espresso over the top. To float the espresso for a layered look, pour gently over the back of a spoon and serve with a cocktail stirrer.
